The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Thank you, very much, Karen. I love this old barn and we found it in Origon, somewhere near where we are holding the Lion Cub at a Wild Animal park. This was, most likely, one of the first photos I had taken that I tried some digital adjusting on. I love both the original photo and this one this one, though I will never intentionally tell someone it is a painting unless it is indead a painting. It should be clearly stated if it is photo that was made to appear as a painting, if such is the case, in my opinion.. Thank you Karen for you wonderful thoughts! :-)
