The view from from Mission Point at the end Old Mission Peninsula, which juts into Grand Traverse Bay, is beautifully bleak. On shore rocks and boulders are plentiful. Somewhere to the north, beyond the horizon, the bay meets Lake Michigan, of which it is an arm. Copyright 2013 Ann Horn. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.
