High up on a hill, the skeleton of a once mighty Saguaro cactus, still stands tall as it catches the first rays of morning sun. The Sonoran desert is a harsh place, where the cycle of life and death is present everywhere you look. This cactus probably lived to be well over 100 years old (they don't produce 'arms' until between 75 and 100 years old).
