In southern Florida there is this particular bird called the sandhill crane, and they have a tendency to just walk right up to you in your back yard or wherever, especially near golf courses and wetlands. This was one of two cranes walking around behind my house one day but the other wasn't paying any attention to me. This one on the other hand took notice and slowly approached me giving me these mysterious and inquisitive looks the whole time. I call this shot bedroom eyes because the bird's eyes have this slightly seductive, yet unnerving quality to them.
