Love the painting and the rich colorful blues, reds, greens, & yellows! A nice addition to our cowboy/southwest decor vibe.

Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.
Artist's Description
This is from my first roll of prism pictures, shot in 1975 at Bee Canyon Park, in Granada Hills, California, using my Mom's Instamatic camera. Through the viewfinder of the camera there was no bright light. I had to move the camera away from my face to the side of my body and move the camera until I could see the colored light striking the lens. I was so excited to get the shot that I forgot to move the grocery bag off the bridge.
About Steven Wirth
My contribution to visual art is "prism photography." By this I mean taking pictures into the direction of the brightly colored light that emanates from prisms. This technique is seen very briefly in some movies, but I have yet to see a collection of stills along this vein, so I hope people see in this something new. My first photos taken this way were at Bee Canyon Park in Southern California, using an Instamatic Camera, circa 1975. Since colored light hitting the eyepiece would usually miss the lens, it was necessary to place the camera to my side where I could see the light hit the camera at just the right place. More recent pictures have been accomplished using a Nikon SLR. Thirty years of chasing prismatic rainbows in this way...
