Great quality, awesome photos. I'm pleased to be able to find local shots of the Chesapeake Bay area to display in my home. I'll probably be back to make more purchases for other areas of my house.

Love this print. Really says it all with regard to good food...good drinks....good times. To tie it up I built this frame because that is the only way I will display such an awesome print!

Artist's Description

"Beed's Lake Dam" Beed's Lake State Park is a centerpiece of Franklin County. The park's beautiful limestone Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) dam is the most photographed dam in the Midwest. Access to the dam is on the east side of the lake. The causeway was originally built to store water for the raceway to the mill, which was located downstream from the current dam. focal point of the park is the unusual 170 foot-long spillway with horizontal layers of limestone dropping abruptly 40 feet. It was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. In 1857, T.K. Hansbury built the first dam to supply water for the operation of a sawmill. Two years later, water power was used to operate a flour mill. William Beed put in the long causeway when he bought the property in 1864. He operated the mill until 1903. My images are made to look into not at, only by looking into and image can you see it. I shoot a lot in the "fly over states" I like to think of them as drive through states, have a look at what you are missing. Welcome to my website. Photography has become my passion the past six years with a focus towards landscapes. When I look at photography it is more than a picture, it is a historical record of the past, as each image once it records the scene, the scene is already in the past. It is also one man's confirmation of his personal journey in this thing we call life. Beauty Of Nature Forever Inspires Revered...
