Sometimes the rule of thumb is not always the way. You might think of it this way Marilyn. A thumb is flexible as to say it can bend. In photography we must bend the rules sometime to create the right shot.

Thank you Marilyn. I usually don't take a picture at quite such an angle ( that is to slant my camera sideways) but to capture the beauty of the sunflowers together this way I went against my usual train of thought ( that is to always keep the camera level at whatever angle your shooting from). I still think it's best to do so especially on sunsets and landscape. But with the subject being the greater part of a shot such as this one. You can slant your camera without detracting of the photograph. It's really great to have a comment like yours Marilyn to say it's ok.
