This is such a lovely painting! The colours and simplicity evoke for me the sharp air of approaching winter and bleak, huge open spaces hinted at behind the roof of the church and the open road beyond....fv

I received a request to write a review for this poster. A bit difficult to do since I never received my order. I also never received a response to the two emails I sent asking about my order.

I ordered this for my dads birthday. He loved it and so do I. I am constantly amazed at each picture Brian takes. He just seems to have an uncanny ability to capture what the naked eye seems to miss. My husband is making a frame for it and once we have it completed I will post the completed project. I hope to order more -- this time for me.

Artist's Description

Behind the old church in Manigotagan, Manitoba is a hay rake that speaks of days gone by. The church was built around 1936 and during it's last exterior community painting, cold weather and winter had set in before it could be completed. This is why there's three tones of color. (Then everyone forgot the task as it's behind the church anyways). This old church is still used every Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Many thanks to Artwork from the Past, Your favorite Artwork and the Paintings groups for their recognition.
