Description
"Behind the Wood Pile" is a very familiar scene to the artist Linda Simon. Growing up in a house hold where the men in her family hunted, Linda's family was always provided with fresh ( so sorry vegans, I love animals too) organic meat. The chocolate lab "dutifully" posing in this oil painting is Ms. Simon's lab, Thor. Thor makes a great model, but is not a hunter, he has been way too spoiled! The one thing Ms. Simon wanted from this painting was a chuckle from her family, which she well received! Copyright - All RIGHTS RESERVED owned by Hillary Simon

One of my high school teachers had an old southern saying about the wood pile that I expect to see Pres. Pushy Groper tweet to the world some 3 am. I voted for this image in Piggy's contest. LF
