Warm, sweet beignets, hot café au lait, music and color all around - these are the tastes, sights, and sounds of New Orleans. Café de Monde doesn't make this cup any longer. I have it from many years ago and it's sitting in my studio as a holder for brushes. One day, I took out the brushes and decided to paint this from memory of a plate of hot beignets.
