I did not recieve this yoga mat that I orderd.
This painting expresses my love of coastal areas of the UK. The sea and shore together call to me. Fascinated by the constantly varying patterns of water on sand and rock, the sounds, the sense of having arrived, and the sense of possibly setting sail from this place or coming back to it and that shore once again, I long to just sit forever. I am drawn also to imagine the stories of these shores, mostly lost in time, knowing as I watch the waves, that generations of humankind have shared these emotions and sensations! All of this burst into my thoughts as I worked on 'BELOVED SHORE', and seemed to shift and dance like the tide. I tried to capture the emotion of it, and my endless devotion to it! The mosaic effect I incorporated here just felt right and seemed to evoke the way the eye shifts and focuses on droplets and ripples, of shimmering light on water, foam, sand and pebbles. I dream of dancing on a sun-sparkled pebble beach just at the lapping edge of the water... freeform and spo...
