The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

This image was taken one Alaskan summer evening when I was leaving Sitka Sound, heading out to the fishing grounds. The evening light during those long summer days is glorious and unforgettable for its gold cast upon the still waters of the sea.

A "real" camera, my first, I purchased more than 50 years ago. I didn't intend to become a commercial photographer, but simply to capture what extraordinary compositions I deemed captivating through my magic lenses.
