Benito Magneto was created in the 1970's for a Hot Rod Magazine article on funny car aerodynamics. Benito's revolutionary "Flop-O-Aerodynamico" incorporated every 'down force' device known to man, and then some. Benito, ironically, was way ahead of his time as many of the things featured on the car would in fact eventually be incorporated into actual fuel coupe design, including it's roof hatch, fender bumps, laid back headers, dual element wings, side mount parachutes and the use of weather stations.

It was 1960; Kenny Youngblood was fifteen years old, sitting at the kitchen table and drawing his favorite subject: �slingshot� fuel dragsters. His mom walked by and said, �Someday you�ll get paid for doing that�. �At the time�, recalls Youngblood, �I thought that was crazy; who would ever pay someone to draw dragsters?� If you�re into motor sports, you�ve probably heard his name; if you�re not, you�ve probably seen his work. Youngblood is not only the most prolific artist in the field of motorsports art, but also it�s most significant pioneer.
