Description
On a trip to Berlin I spotted this plant. It seemed it was hiding behind the "real" plants. Even though a plant often is considered ugly (and a lot are) this one stands proudly like saying: "Look at me, how pretty I am." Turning the photograph into an artwork I emphasized the colors and chose a modern paint style overlaid with ink-styled edges for a better contrast.
Waehrend einer Fahrt nach Berlin entdeckte ich diese Fabrik. Es schien als versteckte sich die Fabrik hinter den Baeumen. Obwohl Fabrikgebaeude meist als haesslich angesehen werden (und viele sind es) ragt dieses stolz empor, als wolle es sagen: "Schau mich an, wie huebsch ich bin." Bei der Umsetzung in eine Kunstwerk betonte ich die Farben und waehlte einen modernen Malstil, die Kanten wie mit Tinte gezeichnet fuer einen besseren Kontrast.
