Description

Digital art based on my work entitled "L'or du temps / The Weather Gold". The freezing water (verglas, black ice) sculpted diverse shapes on the plexi wall surface it poured on. So this golden maze contains several little animals that look like some we already know for real, more or less. I drew a black line on top of the ones I recognized to define/outline them well on the golden background. But maybe I haven't seen them all. If you find some, please let me know and I will add the ones you bring to my attention to my golden ice bestiary.

List of animals in the painting, from left to right: A wolf or a dog, a whale or a dolphin, a fat worm, Mister Rabbit = the big-eared guy, a snake, Miss Miaow = a classy cat seen from the back, Moby Dick = the huge sperm whale that captain Ahab was obsessed by, a seal with a revolving ball on its nose working in a circus, an octopus, a lizard (or is it a squirrel?), a gecko (?), a big little mouse, a beaver (the animal emblem of Canada).
