This is a photo that I took while volunteering at the Austin Steam Train Association located in Austin, Texas. The title was inspired by the way this photo ended up including the train truck and rails caught between the Texas bluebonnets and a cactus. The rustic view of the train wheel and oil embedded train trucks in contrast to the rest of the photo captured a beautiful moment in time. The flowers and the thorns may come and go, but will this train wheel ever roll again? Enjoy!
