I love the "air" in this, R W. You manage to get so much feeling and atmosphere in your paintings. Amazing. f/v

Hi Gun, thank you for your comments!!!

So much to enjoy in this painting. I love the way the dark burgundy makes a frame for the action. And it's happening: the boats on the river with the tiny figures in blue with more blue on the shore... very exciting! Wonderful! f/v

You are too kind Ana Maria, thank you so much!!! You are without a doubt one of my favorite artists!!!

Your paintings have to be soaked up slowly RW! I like just to feel my way around each piece .I don't know of anyone who paints in this style, and it's not easy to be unique among so many artists.I love the depth and mood of this. And what feels like a beautiful maroon-pink glow! Don't know how that happens! v/f

R W Goetting replied:

Thank you for visiting my work and for your kind words. You are right, sometimes my work gets rather dense with painterly effects! This one had alizarin, rose and cad red in it in various combinations that lended that glow to it. I appreciate your kind words Jane, Bob

I save this art work in my favorite folder.
