One in a series of water colors. This piece demonstrated control of the medium, watercolors can vary and set moods and expression so well. It would be better in a frame. Stretched canvas didn't allow me to enjoy the painting fully. Needs to be larger or I would order several for a grouping.

Stretched canvas didn't allow me to enjoy the painting fully. Needs to be larger or I would order several for a grouping. The canvas was not as bright as I would have liked. The hardware attached to mount the art work was very well done with all of the pieces I ordered. They were carefully wrapped. Great value!

Absolutely striking! More color and detail than I was able to appreciate on the website. We haven't decided where to place it yet, but we have noticed that the painting comes alive wherever we place it. Almost as if its evaluating us as a portrait. Handled with care by the preparer, it arrived unblemished. Very professional. Well pleased.

I love this photograph. I feel like I can walk out onto that bridge. (I have.). The lights and the water are so peaceful. The packaging could be better. Two of the corners were rubbed off. We decided to keep it instead of dealing with the return.

Quick and easy ordering. The image color on the canvas was well balanced and not over saturated like many reprinted media tend to be. Only minor gripe was the hanging cord behind the stretched canvas was cheap and untidy. Luckily this will be shadow box framed and sitting on a bookshelf.

About Myke Irving
Myke Irving has been an artist for almost thirty years doing mostly illustrations and portrait work. In 1999, he switched from his main artistic mediums to sculpting. Specifically, Mr. Irving designed eleven mermaids during that same year for the City of Norfolk’s Mermaids on Parade project. Outside of these few sculptures for the City of Norfolk, Mr. Irving has also commissioned quite a few pieces for private patrons. He designed six mermaid sculptures of varying lengths and styles to rest on a person’s 65-foot tour boat. They were decorated with a mixture of mirrored mosaics and painted decorations. Another one was for someone’s poolside. She displayed almost two hundred hand crafted scales on her tail and had a head full of...
