My father owns the same truck its the same color and everything and it originally sat in grandfather's garage with a gravel driveway until we pulled it out and rescued it and this photo reminds me of that day cause the garage even looks the same too. I will eventually hang it on my wall im remodeling my living room and ima hang it on my wall when it's done to pay respect to my father who bought me my first home and someday he's leaving this truck to me to carry on its legacy.

I happened to run across a notice that this drug store was closing while I was surfing the internet looking for something else. I loved the picture of the sign that I saw so I went up to Irving TX before it got torn down to get a photo of my own. The owner of the 66-year-old pharmacy isn't sure how he feels about that. I've been through the emotions and everything already," said Smith, a pharmacist. "I guess I'm at peace with the decision. Thursday may be a whole other issue." Big State Drug, at 100 E. Irving Blvd. in Irving's Heritage District, was established in 1948 when Clay and Jean Burney bought the B&H Dry Goods Store and turned it into a pharmacy with a soda fountain, jukebox and air conditioning. Along with Highland Park Old-Fashioned Soda Fountain and Ben Franklin Apothecary in Du...
Protected with PIXSY About Joan Carroll: I am a Fort Worth Texas-based outdoor photographer who feels at home while on the road...in Texas, in the US, around the world. Although travel and photography were dual interests from a young age, the coming of the digital camera provided undreamed of opportunities and unleashed previously untapped creativity. My photographic goal is to travel the world in a curious yet respectful way, taking the time to see and understand the unique story of each place I visit. Wherever I go I want to walk every street, hike every trail, ride the bus or metro, climb every tower, walk around and through every monument, and then do it all over again when the light changes. In every place, light, mood, color, and...
