The bee stayed in this dahlia flower almost half an hour and not fly away. I was completely shocked when I took the photo with other intruder from the outdoor.
Dahlia is a genus of bushy, tuberous, herbaceous perennial plants native to Mexico, Central America, and Colombia. A member of the Asteraceae or Compositae, dicotyledonous plants, related species include the sunflower, daisy, chrysanthemum and zinnia. There are at least 36 species of dahlia, with hybrids commonly grown as garden plants. Flower forms are variable, with one head per stem; these can be as small as 2 in (5.1 cm) in diameter or up to 1 ft (30 cm) ("dinner plate"). This great variety results from dahlias being octoploids

You have been selected as Artist of the Week in the 1000 Views On 1 Image Group. Thank you for all the support you have rendered to this group.....It is greatly appreciated
Lingfai Leung replied:
I am so appreciated for this honor. I was away due to my medical conditions. I had a genetic disorder called "Marfan Syndrome" It is a disorder that affects the connective tissue. It affected my bones, heart, eye conditions and joints. I now had mobility issue that cannot do any long walk, go out to take pictures. I had aortic dissection and have to use blood pressue pills to keep me in control. But the side effects of these medications make me feel sleepy and had no energy. I am so grateful with this honor. Thank you to all fellow artists.
