This painting makes me happy!! The colors are really fun and, like his other pieces I own, expertly painted. I want to live in this cottage and walk into the ocean. Ordered it on canvas - well executed. Thank you for the smiles!
Artist's Description
This is a commission of a handsome gray cat named Binx whose portrait was done with a colorful stained glass effect. Here is what one of Binx's owners has to say about him:
"Binx was abandoned by his mom when he was about 2 weeks old. My daughter-in-law found him on her Grandma's farm and brought him home. He was bottle fed and hand raised by her family and ours. And when he was ready for a home he came to live with us. He is our baby of course. To "his" people he is the most loving boy around. He stands and taps your leg to be held and loves to cuddle and give love bites and kisses. But, he is a feisty boy also. He has an attitude and pouts when he doesn't get his way. And trust me, you know when he doesn't like someone."

I also enjoy creating collages using vintage ephemera from the late 1800's and early 1900's. My work has been published numerous times in books, magazines, calendars, greeting...
