what an interesting painting, Anneke! I love the story behind- birds are watching humans! L/f and following :)

I love this POV. And the shadows....so well executed. What a nice painting!

I love this composition! Voted! Thank you for featuring my work!

Voted....1 st vote on this....

Fabulous birds eye perspective :)) heel goed Anneke !

i just love how this is designed;overall excellent work!!

Novel subject and execution. I've never seen anything like it. I never thought of it before from the birds point of view!

Haha! This made me smile, ;-D Cool title for a thoughtful & wonderful painting.

Wonderful perspective and the colours fill good like being a bird, that is what art is.

Bruce, that's a good observation! I have never seen it myself that there is indeed a V sign in it and even pigeons, although they are not white. Now it has become a peace painting, isn't it? I like it, thank you for making me see it with 'new' eyes! Maybe X is just a double V? :)

They form a perfect "V"! Is that the upper half of an "X" construction?

Dear Anneke, It's always a pleasure to have your opinion. About Nanking, you are right. It's the name of the chinese town where the "china ink" was discovered and... the name was adopted to describe that ink. In a general way, we can say that you paint with Nanking when you use a black ink.... This your painting as a fantastic composition, unusual and creative, because most part of the people does not look at things from top! The use of the colors is very good. These strong shades have a fantastic final effect. Best regards, Gomes Pereira

A PERFECT STYLE IN APPLYING BRIGHT COLORS TO SHOW THE HARSH SUNLIGHT....AWESOME SHADINGS...VERY BEAUTIFUL AND GORGEOUS CINEMATIC OVER SHOULDER SHOT OR 3TH PERSON POINT OF VIEW OF THOSE BIRDS...SO BRILLIANT AND INNOVATIVE!...I CAN FEEL THE HEAT AND THE SHIMMER OF SUN HERE....THANK YA SO MUCH FOR SHARING THE BEAUTY HERE AND ALSO APPRECIATE YOUR VERY INSIGHTFUL AND KIND COMMENT ON "PERSIA" SERIES...I SEE YOU ARE QUITE A BIT FAMILIAR WITH POETRY AS WELL AND I INFER YOU MIGHT BE SO MUCH INTO STUDYING PERSIAN POETS LIKE HAFEZ...PEACE AND ENERGY TO YA MY DEAR FRIEND.

Philosophical artwork. I very like.

Anneke, I like this and other work that you do so much. The title explains this very well. -interesting because of the viewpoint of the birds... Shine on, anne

I love it! This is a prize-winner on the basis of originality in handling the subject, and personal color range! Thank you, Anneke!

AMAZING! Again!

Love how turn around is far play, wonderful concept Anneke -- well thought out composition. .......Joe

Great piece - love the concept and the execution!

What a brilliant conept Anneke! I just love it. Very clever!

Just who is watching whom? Luv the concept in this, the shadows and color work are all terrific!

Nice Birdwatching painting Anneke, and i like the contrast of the warm and the cool colours you've used, all the best. Eddie Michael Beck

Wonderful painting. I like the repetition of the figures and their cast shadows. The birds help us look down on this scene.
