Very nice print and frame. Great picture.

Very upset about this one. The print was smudged and the staples in the frame made the image bumpy. Very poor quality for the price I paid.

Very nice print and well framed.

This painting by Russell enhances our fireplace.. The color as viewed online couldn't have been anymore correct.. It's amazing how the process of transferring print art to canvas turns out.. Nicely done, thanks

quality is pretty shit to be honest. for the price I paid, both canvas frame and print out photo, ended up costing more than $500AUD for a shitty print. quite disappointed. delivery was good but besides that quality is shit

Artist's Description

Birthplace of the telephone: 109 Court Street, Boston, Massachusetts, USA. On an upper floor of this building on June 2, 1875, Alexander Graham Bell and Thomas A. Watson first transmitted sound over wires. Watson had twanged a clock spring in their experimental telegraphic device, and Bell heard the sound on a second device. On March 10th, 1876, Bell shouted the words, Mr. Watson, come here, I want to see you. Watson heard Bell's voice over their apparatus. This event marks the first use of a telephone. Photographed between 1915 and 1925.

About Library Of Congress/science Photo Library

Science Photo Library was founded in 1981 by Michael Marten, one of the authors of "Worlds Within Worlds", a book exploring different ways to observe the universe - from electron micrographs, to images of earthrise taken from the Apollo spacecraft. When Marten started receiving requests for the beautiful images in the book, he had an idea of setting up Science Photo Library. Since then, Science Photo Library has continued to work alongside world acclaimed photographers and the leading science and medical experts to provide a central source of the best science and specialist imagery available. Although the collection started with scientific images, it has grown to encompass all aspects of science and their impact on everyday life.
