Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

My "Black Box" constructions are an exploration of the mysterious process of creating a talismanic object, an object that can transport a viewer by the force of its inherent riddle, out of utilitarian objects. Various metals and mechanisms previously made to function in a machine are here given new context as symbols of volition. The boxes often contain eggs, an obvious symbol of potential and life. Screens are employed to refer to the hidden; keys are used to symbolize a way of gaining access to power. Ultimately, however, the pieces are to be experienced uniquely by each viewer, who will provide their own personal context for all of these symbolic objects that make up each piece.
ARTIST STATEMENT: "Our planet is invested with two great oceans; one visible, the other invisible; one underfoot, the other overhead; one entirely envelopes it, the other covers about two-thirds of its surface." Maury (1855) My work focuses on primal forces and elements; the beeswax medium is for me very suitable for exploring the correlation between oceans (and their evolving life), terrestrial vulcanism, and the surging cosmos.
