Fuel continues to leak from USS Arizona's wreckage. I saw this when I visited in February 2020. This iridescent sheen, no more than12 inches long, appeared just long enough for me to squeeze off a few shots. In less than 5 seconds it was gone. The nebulous blob, sometimes called tears of the Arizona or black tears, seems to float just above the water's surface. It is an eerie reminder of the things that are still trapped in the ship below.

I do not shoot people. Instead, I use my camera to focus on the beauty I see around me. Through my art, I express my feelings for the locations I visit and the wonders of nature I encounter along the way. Rather than simply documenting a scene, my fine art works serve to communicate my memories and feelings about the subject or scene and to evoke an emotional response from the viewer.
