Sadly this beautiful turtle is on the endangered species list, Blanding's Turtle. The turtle is half on the road and half off and was somewhat facing where the water was so i put it more in the grass headed towards the water.The rounded shell and the yellow under the chin are markings that help us identify these turtles.
