Very pretty conglomeration of colors here, and a cute admonition on the fence! You really know how to handle colors and composition, Sharon. So, 231 viewers; no comments! All these 17 posted about the same time. Well, I haven't talked to anybody about this -- you can say that I came in about the same time. I can't recall knowing any body except maybe two other people whom I knew from before joining. Now, I began getting some comments right away -- you've seen them if you read any other people's stuff. Too many of them are -- or soon get to be -- mindless, like punching a time clock that I stopped in. Frankly, I get really pissed off at such blather. I followed one person once who wrote the one word: GLORIOUS on four paintings -- each fairly different from the other three in various ways. Well part of this has been the management urging people to be kind and polite and sign back. This, of course leads to little clicks with no just ending! For myself, I'm pleased if a number of people have been interested enough to bother to make it big to see it better. Now, I DO look at a lot of paintings and not click on all that many for time, low energy of age and illness, and because I refuse to just write "beautiful." I feel I should say something about the particular painting that I am looking at. Sorry, Sharon. You know how old men just ramble away! AND probably I've set it up now so that you won't dare leave a comment on any of my big batch for fear of me being critical. I hope that is not so; and if I didn't doubt that from the cleverness in all your work. One more thing. Most of my life I have been strongly concerned and involved with human rights, and more and more in animal rights, even the rights of our Mother Earth, Ocean, Sky. And I can't keep those concerns out of my life and especially writing and painting. I suspect the former of those two was a major factor in a bunch of people most popular in FAA. Politics just do not belong in poetry! A bunch of people just quit! Occasionally I stop in one of their sites and leave a kind comment or two. They don't respond. I don't so much care about that except that it is all quite interesting to me. Well, Sharon, I was on my way to do something else in FAA when something of yours caught my eye. Peace, etc., Bruce Combs
