Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Materials Used: 140lb. Watercolor paper, polymer medium, acrylics, blue gift bag sanded and a black glazing was applied, inside of an envelope, altered magazines, stamping and splattering, sealed with a layer of UV satin varnished.
Meaning behind the art: A few weeks ago I created this piece of paper from the blue gift bag. Sometimes when I alter the surface of a found papers magic happens and I wasn�t sure when and where I would use the paper. Forgot about it over the holiday and pulled it out in classes today. After class I knew what I was going to do for the Tack Down Tuesday piece, �use that paper.� And the inside of the envelopes presented a wonder patter of lines. I had a pile of papers to pick from but ended up using only four pieces.
Bio Laura Lein-Svencner was raised in Downers Grove IL not far from her grandfather’s farm and resides now Darien Illinois for the past 30 years. She’s continued with her personal studies in drawing, printmaking, sculpture, papermaking and collage. Seeking inspiration from one artist to another, Laura has pursued her love of paper; this steady pace of exploration has led her to become a member of many local and international collage groups. She also co-founded the Midwest Collage Society which exhibits throughout the Midwest region. Her works has won many awards and most recently the 27th Annual Juried Exhibit with the National Collage Society.
