Clearly my images explore colour, shape, pattern and symmetry but I'm after something more than that. I try to develop a relationship between unrelated sources that interest me and create a meaning where none existed before. I want to create an edge; somewhere to let the imagination roam. Eventually I find my own meaning. Sometimes I have to admit defeat and abandon the process. Please engage with the image and let it speak to you. Your own memories and triggers will have their inevitable way with you. I don't want to say too much. Thank you for taking an interest in my work. See also rodger-insh.pixels.com

Wonderful artwork, very mysterious and enlightening - Love it! Oh no, never "admit defeat and abandon the process"...because sometimes when you push through and give it just one more try, does some of your most amazing work shine through into an amazing masterpiece...I know because it happens to me every time....then I think back if I would have abandoned that work...it never would have been birthed?
