An image of a blue crab found in the Chesapeake Bay. This crab however is a large animated, mechanical model at Baltimore's Science Center - Baltimore, Maryland. I photomerged (digitally stitched together) two images to create this slightly wider version. The original capture was done 3-10-08 and this reprocessed version was done 10-13-18. I added many filters, vignetting, and bubbles to try and create an artistic representation.

I'm a retired communications instructor/developer, raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (USA). I have a wide range of interests which include some artistic talent. My eclectic tastes, thirst for variety, and preference for images over words, eventually lead me through the internet to the world of 3D stereo in 2005. Since I've been with Fine Art America, I've focused primarily on regular photography with a touch of digital manipulation to better compose the images and ideas.
