I absolutely LOVE Wyatt! The colors are amazing, the painting on wood is exactly how I imagined. I could not be happier with my purchase.

This was a gift for my son-in-law for a new office. It was beautfully crafted and very unique. Being a history buff, my son in law spoke to the accuracy of the map/art. The website was easy to use and packaging/ delivery was top notch.

I have purchased 3 framed prints through Fine Art America and have been very pleased with the quality of all 3. This is the first time I've purchased a product where the picture has been reproduced on wood rather than paper. Perhaps I should have known, but the colours and vividness of reproduction on wood do not compare favorably to those on paper (or canvas). To me, the end product looks washed out. The overall quality of the product is otherwise good, but I wish I'd ordered a framed print instead.

Great experience. Excellent quality product. Shipped fast and with care. Highly recommended seller and great website.

Artist's Description

Altered photograph to provide a palette knife look. Boathouse Row is a historic site located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on the east bank of the Schuylkill River. It consists of a row of boathouses housing racing shells. Each of the ten boathouses has its own history, and all have addresses on Kelly Drive (named after famous Philadelphia oarsman John B. Kelly, Jr.). The boathouses are part of a group known as the Schuylkill Navy, which encompasses several other boathouses along the river.

About Lou Ford

If you have a chance, please stop by my Photography Blog and Flickr Collections. I was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and have lived in Southeastern PA for most of my life. I've always been into photography - going back to my childhood days with a Kodak Instamatic. Through the years, most of my work has involved filling photo albums with family pictures and documenting family vacations. Only recently, through retirement, have I been able to dedicate more time to developing a style and building a portfolio. I really enjoy photography. To me it is a way to get out and enjoy and celebrate the beauty of God's creation. As you can see from my galleries, I have a wide range of photographs - flowers and water...
