The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

This is a painting of 2 out of 3 Bob-Kittens that live in the large back yard of a very nice family in Reno, NV. The Bob Kittens and their Mama are wild but live, in harmony, in this big back yard that belongs to humans.
When we first moved back to Sparks, NV., after 35 years away, I noticed this photo in the newspaper, and of course read the article. Diane Mc Kallister of Reno NV. had taken the photo in their back yard, up the road toward Mt. Rose Mountain. She had been given a new camera, by her husband and children and was taking photography lessons. Apparently they have a very large back yard with boulders and trees, up the hill from their house, and the Mother Lynx had apparently made this her home. I painted the two cubs sitting up on one of the big rocks, after I have been granted permission by Diane, from the photo in the newspaper.
