I had held off purchasing any Super Bowl LVIII collectibles or memorabilia until I found something that I thought was just “awesome”. When I saw this SI Cover, I knew I had to have it. Honestly it’s one of the best photos I’ve ever seen. Along with the captions it captures what Super Bowl LVIII was all about. Your Photog was in the right place at the right time and did a great job of capturing what Chiefs fans all across the country felt at that moment. As you can see I had the perfect place for it, it makes this wall complete and up to date.

Artist's Description
This is a pencil drawing of someone special to me...done from a photo of him in first grade. Bob was my high school sweetheart and truly a "best friend'" with whom I could share anything. Tho' our paths diverged as adults, our mutual respect and affection remained. I last saw him at our 50th high school reunion where we again shared memories of our high school days and our current lives with our families and spouses. Sadly, Bob passed away in January, 2013, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. I did this sketch for Bob's loving wife, which I sent her along with the photo from which it was drawn...a photo he had given me in high school. Bob was a special person in my life and in the lives of many others who knew and loved him. He will always be alive in my memory and in my heart.

I have been seriously involved in watercolor painting for the last 20 years following retirement from my public school teaching career. Having the time to paint, along with the freedom from the need to make a living at the same time, has opened many wonderful new opportunities, friendships and experiences for me. I am a frequent exhibitor in art shows at the local, regional, state and national levels, having been honored to receive numerous awards for my work. My painting style is realistic. I am drawn to detail and favor the use of vivid color. I enjoy painting a variety of subject matter, but the glorious world of nature is what seems to suit me best. Many of my paintings reflect time spent outdoors, especially in the mountains...
