One of my favorites! V/F

Anneke, what a beautiful painting, full of movement, Dagmar

Bravo, Anneke! I love the loose and happy feeling you created!

Love this one!

Dear Anneke, I am back again to admire this painting. I like all your paintings on FAA. Thanks for your recent comment about my untitled painting. I will show the full painting soon. That part with the "pelican" is only half of it. YOUR ADMIRER & friend, Anne

Anneke.....You captured the moment.....this painting makes me feel like dancing! Thank You! :)

Nice work Anneke, like the free painting style of your Bolero Dancers, all the best, Eddie Michael Beck

My you ve been busy Anneke! Love this - such energy and emotion in it. Great atmosphere. Best to you - Lizzy

This is beautiful Anneke.......full of joy! Thank you for the kind comments on my work.

Werner has it just right. The dancers go round and round! And back and forth, And so do their garments. And so even does the light, which I think (dare I say "interfaces?" The only computer word I kinow, and, as I, so foreign in this lively and living atmosphere! You can almost smell the fragrant stale smoke and even sweat from the dance floor. Here everything is moving except the air! Even the light and shadows blending in ragged patches, so subtly, as Rembrandt did it, not an eye-piercing spotlight cutting a sharp edge as the corroscuro painters. And as Werner pointed out, that skillful defiance of sharp-edges for people moving faster than our eyes and minds -- and maybe even hearts -- can follow. And so Anneke has captured and created for us a more realistic static view that we can almost SEE move, and all the other sensations I mentioned above. Hats in the air for you, Anneke!

This is an outstanding example of impressionism. Nice use of color - well done!

Anneke, I feel the sense of movement & joy in this painting. You are amazing. I want to dance around the house now. Smile

Thank you, dear Anneke, for your so nice comment in my new work. You made me think on egyptian ceramics, and I never thought on that, before reading your words. It made in 2000, during a bleu period. This your work, that I never saw before, is very much full of movement and nice colors. Also the background and light foccus give the painting a great reality and deepness. Congratulations, JA

This is really a happy piece and I love the limited palette! Thank you for your warm welcome and comments on my work.
