Description
I camped about 11 miles away from Bulls Island, awoke at 3 AM and drove to the launch site. Almost an hour later 30 or more photographers boarded the ferry which took us to a drop off site where we then hoisted ourselves onto trailers which then towed us to the beach. We were there an hour before sunrise and had plenty of time to search out a good spot. These photography expeditions are timed to coincide with low tide. Very well organized by "Coastal Expeditions" from Charleston South Carolina. The different employees we encountered were all friendly and knowledgeable about the area and eager to share their information.
