She wasn't -- she was a exotic creation of her own design -- your art work does her justice -- beautiful and evocative! v/f

Thank you, Frank. She's actually very hard to paint as she doesn't really have a main focal point - it's all or nothing. :)

My 8-year-old granddaughter loved this tote bag. The only improvement I recommend is that it be a zippered tote bag.

For awhile, I'd been looking for a practical bag that reflects my personality. Since I'd previously ordered photography notecards from this site, I decided on a tote with one of my favorite films. (Sometimes I forget I have it, and it does get curious looks from other people!) So I'm happy with my nighttime/winter bag, and I plan on ordering another with different imagery for daytime/summer. It's also sturdy canvas and, even in the smallest size, fits all (two smaller bags, plus iPad, iPhone, keys, with plenty room left for more) I put into it.

Thrilled with my beautiful Tote Bag. This is one of my favourite paintings which I have been trying to locate for some months....I have it on the Tote bag on my bedroom door to look at first thing each day and last thing at night. It is too precious to use!!...thank you also for delivery contact and packaging. regards Pam.

The design is too stretch on the fabric, therefore making it impossible to determine what it is. Color is good, though.

Artist's Description

Marilyn Monroe was born on June 1, 1926, in the Los Angeles County Hospital as Norma Jeane Mortenson (soon after changed to Baker), the third child born to Gladys Pearl Baker (nee Monroe, May 27, 1902 March 11, 1984). ............................. Monroe's birth certificate names the father as Martin Edward Mortensen with his residence stated as "unknown". The name Mortenson is listed as her surname on the birth certificate, although Gladys immediately had it changed to Baker, the surname of her first husband and which she still used. Martin's surname was misspelled on the birth certificate leading to more confusion on who her actual father was. ...................................... Gladys Baker had married a Martin E. Mortensen in 1924, but they had separated before Gladys' pregnancy. Several of Monroe's biographers suggest that Gladys Baker used his name to avoid the stigma of illegitimacy. Mortensen died at the age of 85, and Monroe's birth certificate, together with her parents'...

About Georgiana Romanovna

My great love of nature, animals and ever changing seasons is what first brought me to art at a very young age. I have done a great many things throughout my life, but the one constant has always remained; the love of art and of creating. By nature I'm very introverted, emotional and sensitive, although most would not see this unless they looked at my art, and many have referred to me as being "the romantic artist". I'm unsure whether I agree with the assessment, but my emotional sensitivity is very much in tune with my creativity. I am in tune with the world around me on sometimes a very raw level which I feel enhances my creativity. Art - it is my love in life. I privately license images and continually accept commissions as my main...
