The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. I'm a New England native, with a BA in Studio Art, Art History, Museum Studies. I've spent over a decade working at one of Boston's largest art museums, and now live out in a tiny town in northern central New England. My painting style is loose modern impressionist landscapes and cityscapes. I see my work as being similar to a novelist exploring a new character. A brushstroke goes down as a sentence, and the next one becomes more clear. I meet the character as I create it. And I learn a bit more about myself with each new work. I believe that a painting should be something that shows you something new every time you look at it. Whether about yourself, and your reaction to it, or just an element in the scene you hadn't noticed...
