I decided to redo Boundary Series I the way I would do it today (four years later). There are four seasonal quadrants and many complicated time based relationships involved. I spent many years living on the edge of the 100 sq. mile Shawnee State forest in Ohio. It was so isolated that we could tell time by the position of the Milky Way on clear nights. There were no road sounds so when the bird-sized Luna moths would crash into the screens we would all jump. The whippoorwills and the mocking birds offered the concert of the evening. The woodpeckers acted as alarm clocks often using the rain gutters to amplify their knocking. When you live in an environment that is close to nature you have an understanding that is sometimes hard to explain to city dwellers.
