This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Artist's Description
This is a very recent painting. It was a study in textures and values. The textures I used were scraping, scoring and sponging. The different shades of green especially in the green tops of the onions was a real challenge.
About Carol Warner
My "watercolor" life began in 2009 when I moved to Boulder Colorado after retirement. I enrolled in a watercolor class taught by Anne Gifford. I had never tried my hand at painting at all. So upon joining the class I decided that I would try it as long as my supplies lasted and if I hadn't fallen in love with it that I would retire my brushes. Well, I'm still painting, purchasing supplies and I love it. Since I am a student with Anne Gifford my painting and hers reflect similar styles and subjects. But in her class I've become known as the "Texture Queen". I love experimenting and have discovered some new techniques and materials I can use to add texture to my paintings.
