Item was lost in transit. Tough figuring out how to contact Fine Art. Finally received 6 weeks after placing order. Then received the original shipment.

I bought this tapestry for my mother who is in the final stages of lung caner. I wanted to brighten her room and bring her some cheer. I paid extra to have it shipped Next Day Air. We received the package 5 days after ordering. However, I was very diappointed at the taperstry when I opened it. It is very blurry and distorted. The fabric is OKAY somewhat thin, but not terrible. I have ordered many tapestries from another company recently as Christmas gifts for 1/2 the price that are way better quality and very clear and vibrant. I will not order again from Fine Art America....

Artist's Description

Bow Bridge, shaped like an archer's bow, was built between 1859 and 1862. It connects the Ramble and Cherry Hill, and spans more than 60 feet of the Lake. Because the south bank was higher than the north, construction of the cast iron bridge included raising the height of its northern abutment. Janes, Kirkland, and Co., the firm responsible for the dome of The Capitol in Washington, D.C., did the ironwork for the span of Bow Bridge. Vaux and Mould created the ornamental iron railing that incorporates elements of Gothic, Neo-Classical, and Renaissance design. It is the second oldest iron-cast bridge in the US

Her latest passion is capturing features of New York City including its architecture in monochromatic tones. This is quite in sharp contrast to her nature photography. Her black-and-white photographs of NYC’s architecture present a poignant beauty of this grand city with all of its feats of engineering and beautiful buildings. Her unified vision remains constant throughout her works through its implication...
