It’s a Christmas gift so I’m not sure what the recipient will think. It’s a unique flamingo (which she loves) , do I know it’ll be a hit. As always, your pillows are awesome! The colors are vibrant and they hold up well.

We love our new pillow! Great, durable fabric, bold color, and it looks just like our Mokah Moose. I would recommend this product.

Artist's Description

"We're going to do our part and we'll win because we;re on God's side." "Realizing Louis's potential for elevating esprit de corps among the troops, the Army placed him in its Special Services Division rather than deploying him into combat. Louis went on a celebrity tour with other notables including fellow boxer Sugar Ray Robinson. In addition to his travels, Louis was the focus of a media recruitment campaign encouraging African-American men to enlist in the Armed Services, despite the military's racial segregation. When he was asked about his decision to enter the racially segregated U.S. Army, his explanation was simple: 'Lots of things wrong with America, but Hitler ain't going to fix them.'" In all, Louis made 25 defenses of his Heavyweight title from 1...

In 1979 I earned a MA in drama from the University of Arizona; earlier getting a BA in English from the University of Minnesota, where I co-founded the first film society on campus and ran it for four years. While at the U of A, I studied with the master black and white photo essayist W. Eugene Smith (1918-1978) the last year of his life. I am the last person cited in Jim Hughes' definitive biography of Gene, as I wrote about attending his final...
