Breakfast for the champions
I saw those orange food carts everywhere in downtown. During the morning, workers would buy breakfast from them on their way to work. Each one would have a different menu, some has the pan-fry pan cakes, some offer the congee with deep fried long donuts or fried eggs with green onion cakes. One morning I decided to find out what I been missing and brought one from a vendor near the subway entrance. I was surprised how cheap it was, it cost less than 50cent US. It was a little sandwich with a thick sliced ham, egg, tomato and lettuce in a sesame bun a lot like the egg McMuffin from McDonald but healthier and tastier. A funny irony, the vendor uses a McDonald sun umbrella!

I was born in Hong Kong and grow up in Toronto, Canada. When I was about three years old, I came upon my teenager neighbor practicing her Chinese ink painting which lighted my interests and I started to paint and draw to amuse myself. My childhood interests stay with me and never left me. Everyday, after school all my spare time were spent making art. In 1973 our family moved to Canada and I attended and graduated from Central Technical School and Ontario College of Art and Design University. For the last 25 years, I working full time as an artist.
