This print is awesome. I bought one of the big sizes. The resolution is good considering the size, and the colors are really nice. It's a good quality reproduction. I got the matt paper and glad I did - no possiblity of unwanted reflections. Customer service was good. I told them the print I got was slightly smaller than what I ordered, and in 3 days they sent me a larger print! That was nice.

I ordered four of the blue footed boobies as a series Ithis particular print is one of the series). They're beautifully done and have some sweet and comic elements. They all make me smile! Thank you!
Artist's Description
: In this series I am playing with different scales of pattern, contrasting small dots, strips, or type, with larger motifs and solid colors. It’s sort of like piecing fabrics for quilts. I paint all the papers, then cut, tear, arrange, glue, and paint some more. Fun!
About Jane Davies
Jane Davies is a full time artist working in collage, painting, and encaustics. She offers workshops at her studio and nationwide, focusing on helping people to find a personal and playful approach to creating. Beginning as a potter in the early nineties, Davies gradually transitioned into freelance art, using painting and collage as her medium. For the past several years she has put most of her efforts towards teaching, writing, and having fun making art. She is the author of three books on collage and mixed media, one on ceramics, and has one DVD on painting and collage techniques.
