At 85 years old, no one (not even me) ever recommended Mom get a mammogram. Live and learn. She went to the doctor for another reason and they discovered the lump in her breast. The doctor told us it was most likely breast cancer and sent her for a mammogram. You heard me right, the mammogram was "after" the fact! Don't let this happen to you or the loves in your life. Early detection of breast cancer saves lives. This art reflects an overlay of two of my photographs. The background is a beautiful bouquet of pink roses. The ribbon was on a bag that we received at the radiology place where Mom had her mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy, which confirmed breast cancer.

Diana and her husband Harry photograph (and video) people, food and landscapes. Their food photography was published in the book, "West African Diet for Prevention and Treatment of Diabetes by Adekemi Adejare." Diana works as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist at a hospital in South Jersey. Her specialty is pediatric and adult weight management. She treats patients with obesity and related diseases like diabetes. Diana is a classically trained chef and enjoys culinary arts, writing, gardening and cooking as well as photography.
