About Malcolm McCoull
My interest in oil painting goes back to the 1960's. I am self taught apart from two years night schooling (1959-1961) at St Martins School of Art and the Chelsea School of Art in the UK. In the early 1990's I attended courses at Fremantle Arts Centre and the Potters Market, at O'Connor Western Australia for Pottery, Tile Making, Lost Wax casting techniques and hand built ceramics. At the same time I also did drawing and painting classes at Fremantle Arts Centre. I moved to Rockingham roughly before the year 2000 where I carried on courses at Rockingham Regional Arts. The courses I have done there were Life Drawing, Portrait Painting and En Plein Air. I played most types of football (Soccer and Rugby) Cricket, Athletics, Tennis, Cross...
