This tote bag is gorgeous! I saw a picture of it and had to have it. The colors are just beautiful. The size is better than I expected, because it's larger than I had envisioned it. It is practical and functional as well as beautiful. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I love this bag so much! It is well made; the image is sharp and the colors rich.
The building at Slade and Dundee in Elgin has had several tenants. The front reads the American Gage and Machine Co., while above the door reads Simpson Electric. However, the building currently sits empty, surrounded by a chain-link fence.
However, on the outskirts of the lot, there is a historic marker, explaining what this impressiv...e building once housed. The marker reads:
"Illinois Watch Case Company
1890-1963
For more than 70 years this site was occupied by the Illinois Watch Case Company. The firm was a leader in the domestic watch industry and by the 1920s had produced more than 30 million watch cases.
