The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

One of many images made in the Little Estero Lagoon conservation area, on Estero Island, in southwest Florida, part of Fort Myers Beach. This image was made in March, which is prime time for birding, and tourism, in this area. The best times for this photography are at low tide, when the birds are feeding, coincident with early morning and very late afternoon.

I have been doing serious photography for about four decades, almost all of it using slide film, until my first purchase of a digital camera some years ago.
