Love the painting and the rich colorful blues, reds, greens, & yellows! A nice addition to our cowboy/southwest decor vibe.

Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

About Gregory Scott
I'm a photographer, though sometimes I experiment in other media. My mother was an artist, and on school holidays, when she had classes at the art museum, I got to spend entire days roaming the galleries of the Cincinnati Art Museum. My twin sister is an artist, and my father took up photography about the time I did, when I was in college. I'm also a former machine tool programmer, database analyst, and mathematics and physics teacher, and those things undoubtedly have impact on my perceptions as well, as do my Christian perspective and philosophy. My favorite photographic subjects are hummingbirds, other birds in flight, and scenic beauty as seen in wilderness places, the national parks, and rural locations. As my physical health and...

Liz, if you every get the chance, since you seem to be a "horse person", judging from your icon, there are horse tours of Bryce Canyon. I don't think this particular trail is part of that horse trail system, and I don't know if the park allows bringing your own horse. But it's beautiful terrain to ride in, to be sure. As a humorous note, it would be cruel to allow me to ride, because I am too fat. But it's not too cruel to allow me to very very slowly walk the trails. I told them they need to get some big draft horses to provide equal access, but they shrugged me off. I have been searching through my images for one my wife seems to be using as a screen saver, but which I haven't found yet. It shows a lone rider, probably a park ranger, on a very scenic part of the trail, with many of the trees designed by Dr. Seuss. It's an interesting shot, and if it happens to be part of a larger stitchable panorama series, could be very interesting to "horsey" folks.

I have just come off the comment thread about photography not being art............ And I thought I would have a look at yours, and I also love photography and think this to be a creative expression of what we might see and again of what others don't see........ I have to say I love this trail in this dusty terrain, and would love to ride up to find out where and what it leads me to............ It just screams "Come take a look at me!"
