I love my new print! The colors are great, and the frame and matting are very nice. My only complaint is that I was hoping some kind of a Joyce Hicks signature would be visible. I love her work!

I wish I had gotten the horizontal version of this frame but they don’t list H or W in their measurements. I’ll know better next time.

This painting represents a Buffalo Soldier of 9th Cav, B Troop and some of the gear that was use in his daily operations. His duties included Fort building, protecting railroad workers, protecting settlers, policing and charting new territories for settlement .
About Harvie Brown
Harvie Brown is a native of Florida and a graduate of Georgia State University. He has always had an interest in drawing and painting from since a very early age. He is a self-taught artist, works primarily in oils and would classify his work as representational. After 20 years at Disneyworld in Orlando he decided to relocate to Arizona for inspiration, enlightenment and the pursuit of his love for art in the western, figurative and portraiture genres. He has a deep appreciation for the works of Caravaggio, William A. Bouguereau, John Singer Sargent and Howard Terpning and aspires to the same dedication and excellence in his work.
