I have to credit my husband ... he spotted this and slammed on the brakes a split second before I yelped for him to stop the car!! He's developing a good eye!!!! Found just down the road from the Nubble Lighthouse in Maine, USA, September 4, 2008.
Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence. I also love working completely freehand with no photo reference involved. All of which is allowing me to circle back to a semblance of my days of sketching and painting traditionally. I love the crispness in the details of the buoys and nets and the great contrast of colors. I can see why you both had to stop. I took a similar picture in Newport, Oregon. I think we have similar tastes. I was walking and didn't have to stop the car.

Lois, What a colorful collection of fishing floats! To thinkeach design once marked the nets for different fishing boats. (Mutual respect for one-another's property is good practice in all walks of life.)
